Our Mission

The Black Rock Spotlight Booster Club is a volunteer-run organization, separate from Black Rock Middle School, that supports and enhances the school’s theater program by raising funds, organizing volunteers, and building community support so every student can participate in high-quality theatrical experiences.

Objectives
• Fund sets, costumes, and production needs
• Provide equipment and technical upgrades
• Support performances and special events
• Engage families and the local community
• Celebrate creativity and student achievement

Our Fearless Leaders

Ms. Levin and Mr. Ginsberg are the dedicated leaders behind the Black Rock Spotlight Theater program, where they combine artistic rigor with a deep commitment to community building. Together, they cultivate an environment where students feel both challenged and supported, encouraging creativity, collaboration, and confidence on and off the stage. Ms. Levin brings a thoughtful, nurturing presence that helps performers discover their voices, while Mr. Ginsberg contributes dynamic direction and technical expertise that elevates each production. Their partnership creates a balanced program: disciplined yet joyful, structured yet expressive. Under their guidance, the theater becomes more than a rehearsal space — it becomes a place where young people learn resilience, teamwork, and the courage to be seen.

The work of Ms. Levin and Mr. Ginsberg is supported by parent volunteers who serve on the Black Rock Spotlight Booster Club Board.
